Corey Lewandowski, Donald Trump’s campaign manager, has been arrested in Florida for misdemeanor battery on a Breitbart reporter:
Corey Lewandowski, Donald Trump campaign manager, was charged this morning with misdemeanor battery after allegations of forcefully grabbing a reporter at a Jupiter news conference, town police confirmed this morning.
Lewandowski adamantly denied grabbing Michelle Fields, a reporter for Breitbart. She had been asking Trump a question about affirmative action when she was suddenly pulled away from the candidate. After she reported the incident and tweeted a photo of the bruises on her arm, Lewandowski called her "delusional." The Washington Post’s Ben Terris witnessed the incident, but Trump and Lewandowski still denied that Lewandowski had forcefully grabbed her, blaming a man in Trump’s security detail. Now video has been released from the venue, which clearly shows that Lewandowski was the person who forcefully grabbed Fields. Head below the fold for video of the incident and more.
