I’ll make his short. The recent announcement about the change in direction of this site on, March 15 was a bit of a shock. Not so much because it was announced, Kos owns the site and can do what he wishes. What was disturbing was the tone. I am biased strongly for Bernie so I can’t be objective, but I sure felt that it was an overt act of hostility when I read it.
This is unfortunate. Self fulfilling prophecy is never helpful and I have resisted reacting to the not so subtle threats coming from the anti-Bernie camp here.
There is little to gain to become impatient. In 2008 we had to wait until June until Clinton admitted defeat. Sure the prudent thing to do here is to wait until we know how this turns out before people are pushed and shoved as if they were at a Trump rally.
No one is obligated to decide now how they will react to whatever the outcome is. The need for unity is being stressed all the time but so many who stress it are very devicsive.
I think the damage done so far is not irreversible in most cases. It took a large step in that direction lately.
I ask that people take a deep breath and seriously think about what is at stake here. No one should be trying to get rid of opposing views for that means we all lose. I don’t know what else to say since this all seems obvious to me. Can we agree to disagree and go forward? I, for one, have seen enough of the Clintons to see them as an evil. How much lesser I can’t really judge yet. When their supporters make me think of Trump’s people I get sick at heart. Is this country really in that much trouble?
