Tonight following an event in State College Pennsylvania, Bernie Sanders returned to Vermont aboard a chartered CRJ-700 landing shortly before 10 p.m. EDT. This sudden change in plans was apparently news to the national press members who had traveled from New York to Pennsylvania with the senator today on the same jet. Many of these reporters who have been embedded with the campaign for months suddenly have found themselves stranded at the State College Airport tonight trying to find ways back to presumably New York City or Vermont to continue to cover the campaign.
The implications, if any, of this move for the campaign going forward are unclear.
