For not the first time, I was composing a response in a diary that turned out to be directed to someone who had been given the boot. In this case, it was a zombie (i.e. someone previously BOJOed who returned under another user name), but the result was the same: a complete waste of my sadly all-too-limited time. If not for the comments of other Kossacks, I wouldn’t have known I was attempting to communicate with someone no longer capable of responding.
I wish that diaries belonging to the BOJOed would be clearly flagged as such, perhaps by replacing the title image with the skull & crossbones. It would also be nice if their comments were similarly flagged, perhaps by a similar replacement of their avatar. I don’t mean time-outs: I mean those who have been asked to never darken Kos’ towels again.
It shouldn’t be so hard to find out if a diarist or poster has been ejected from the premises, and it would enable Kossacks to make fully-informed decisions when selecting among such a wealth of thoughts, opinions, and ideas.
