These head to head pairings between the 2 remaining Democrats & the 3 remaining Republicans, show Sanders ahead of all Republican rivals, even Kasich, by double digits, including 20 over Trump, whereas Clinton averages a tie — tying Cruz, 9 ahead of Trump, & 9 behind Kasich. This shows the potential for a transformative landslide win for the Democrats if Bernie is the nominee. & with his landslide wins in 7 of the last 8 elections, his considerable narrowing of the gap in polls in New York & Pennsylvania, his continued strongly positive favorability ratings against Clinton’s & Trump’s steadily declining & very negative favorability ratings, & his nearly 3-1 preference over Clinton among Independents, shows that Democrats need to coalesce around Sanders if they want the White House, both chambers of Congress, & the US Supreme Court, along with a lot more governorships & state houses, to be under progressive Democratic control.
Clearly the vast majority of the American public want a drastic change from the damaging, divisive, negligent, corporatist, militaristic, unfair, inegalitarian, anti-democratic government policies of the last 3 ½ decades (alleviated somewhat, but not nearly enough, during Obama’s presidency), & are seeking someone with unquestionable integrity who is clearly on the people’s side, and more & more of them see Bernie Sanders as the person who can lead us in the direction we need to go.
