Lol. Um. Okay. I think some Bernie supporters have gotten a little confused about what “Feel the Bern” is supposed to mean.
It’s supposed to mean: let yourself believe again. Let yourself feel hopeful about the future. Let yourself feel excited to be a part of a growing movement of revolutionary progress.
That’s what “Feel the Bern” is supposed to mean. It means let your heart bern with passion.
It’s not supposed to mean: feel like a piece of shit if you don’t support Bernie. Or if you said something critical of Bernie. Or if, god forbid, you support or even just said something nice about Hillary.
I would have thought that this was pretty obvious, but , I think that when everyone from Planned Parenthood to Elizabeth Warren has “Felt the BURN” that it’s pretty clear that it’s confusing for more than a few Bernie supporters.
I mean, I assume they are confused.
Cause if they aren’t then… well then they are just assholes.
I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt and hopefully explaining this helps.
And see, it all comes down to education. Education and a healthy breakfast when they are kids.
Oh, sorry, I know, I know. I’m bringing kids into a political discussion and nobody wants to hear about those kinds of domestic issues. Lead in the water. Diminishing access to reproductive care. What can I say, I am a Hillary supporter. We think these things are priorities. I’ll shut up.
