I think some of the best advertising Democrats can use against Trump are ads his GOP opponents have already produced …
A case in point, as I was reading the following New York Times story …
www.nytimes.com/…
“… Representative Jerrold Nadler of New York, a Democrat whose district includes Lower Manhattan, has written a scathing open letter denouncing Donald J. Trump for receiving grant money intended for small-business owners after the Sept. 11 attacks …”
I was reminded that this issue had already been used numerous times during the Republican primary campaign earlier this year. When I first learned of Trump having done this, I was literally ready to throw up … he’s one of the most disgusting people on the planet, and I contemplated of temporarily switching my party registration just to vote against him in the Maryland primary. I never did so, hoping GOP primary voters would have enough sense to defeat him (even though that would have resulted in a relatively harder general election race for us). Now, as Trump is the GOP nominee, I believe that we must use everything in our arsenal in preventing this vile person from ever setting foot in the White House … and we must, if politically advantageous to this cause, use anything available from the GOP’s own arsenal …
Please see some of the stories below from the right-wing media re. Trump taking 9-11 recovery funds … and not just that, but anti-Trump Republicans did a great job in framing the issue for us, as you can tell from reading these stories:
www.redstate.com/...
www.weeklystandard.com/...
In fact, the group “#NeverTrump PAC” produced and ran a brutal ad against Trump on this back in April:
therightscoop.com/...
You absolutely have to watch the ad … it ends with “Who Steals 911 Recovery Money?”
Personally, I think it’s as potent, or more so, than some of the Democratic-produced anti-Trump ads I’ve seen.
