Spokeswoman Likens Trump University (Disclaimer: Not a Real University) To Harvard
Last week, Donald Trump called the East Chicago, Indiana-born judge presiding over the Trump University (disclaimer: not a real university) case a 'Mexican'. Yesterday, Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson defended the comment in an interview on CNN that is three minutes of hilarious insanity everyone should check out and use to get in their daily giggles. Let's take a quick look at the craziness.
When asked about Trump's "We believe he's Mexican" comment, Pierson first responded:
Trump University, where classes being taught to people. And it’s like saying if you graduate from Harvard and you don’t have the same outcome in your profession as everyone else, you should sue Harvard. And that’s just simply absurd.
No reason to comment much on how preposterous it is to invoke Harvard when speaking about Trump University (disclaimer: not a real university). We can laugh our booties off about it, however.
There was supposed to be a hearing last summer and this judge postponed it for whatever reason.
So, she just blamed the delays in this case on the judge, which is a steaming pile of bullsh*t. Last December, it was noted:
In a court hearing in San Diego earlier this month, U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel said he was anxious to move the 2010 case forward, pointing out this was the second-oldest case on his docket.
And in Time's lengthy piece on the Trump University (disclaimer: not a real university) case, they stated:
(Trump) is “dying to go to court,” he insisted. However, his lawyers so far have thrown five years’ of procedural roadblocks in front of a trial.
In other words, blaming the judge for the delay is absurd. If Trump wanted this trial over before his run for the White House, it could have been long done. The continuation of this is his lawyers' doing, not the judge's.
Katrina Pierson Refuses To Admit Judge Is American Seconds After She Is Informed Of The Fact
After those ridiculous comments, Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson then went full-on stupid in this exchange where she was given a fact and still refused to acknowledge it, a move Donald Trump and his supporters should probably trademark (can we make that the official definition of Trumping?):
