Because of Donald Trump’s ascent to presumptive GOP presidential nominee, Conservative Republican pundit Erick Erickson demanded Republicans apologize to Bill Clinton for denigrating and impeaching the former President for the same behavior they’ve now unabashedly glorified in Trump.
Donald Trump is tearing the Republican party apart at the seams...and they so deserve it. They invented Trump and they encouraged him with his “birtherism” and other conspiracies...now they reap what they sow.
“On the campaign trail, Trump was more a pathological liar than Bill Clinton ever was,” he wrote, noting the billionaire “smeared” his opponents’ wives and families, pushed 9/11 conspiracy theories, and “peddled malignant, false stories” about rival Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) father.
“Republicans owe Bill Clinton an apology for impeaching him over lies and affairs while now embracing a pathological liar and womanizer.”
“That apology will not be forthcoming. In fact, for years Republicans have accused the Democrats of gutter politics and shamelessness. Now the Republicans themselves have lost their sense of shame.”
Seventeen years after Republicans impeached Bill Clinton for covering up an affair, they are handing their party over to a man who has openly bragged about his affairs. On the day the Republicans first meet in Cleveland, Donald Trump will be taken to court for allegedly defrauding hard working Americans through Trump University.

RedState former Editor in Chief and CEO and Erick Erickson Erickson developed a well deserved reputation as one of the most powerful conservatives in the United States. On August 7, 2015, Erickson rescinded an invitation to Trump inviting him to a RedState gathering being held in Atlanta. During a debate hosted by the FOX Nutwork on August 6, 2015, Trump said that Fox News anchor and debate co-moderator Megan Kelly “had blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever” while questioning him during the debate.
According to Erickson, Trump's remark "was a bridge too far” and that "blunt talkers and unprofessional politicians should not cross" a line of decency.
Today Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said that he could not and would not vote for Donald Trump:
Sen. Lindsey Graham, one of Donald Trump's most outspoken Republican critics, says he will not vote for either Trump or Hillary Clinton for president this year.
Saying he thinks the Republican Party has been "conned," Graham told CNN Friday that he and Trump don't share the same beliefs.
...it all leads to President Hillary Clinton, November 8, 2016.
