OK… 1 small comment. I am not part of “BernieorBust”. I get it, but I march to my own drummer.
And he’s been laid off because economy is still not as good as we’re told.
My best friend came over last night and the discussion was dominated by both of us being post-50, well-educated (he has an MBA and used to work for a huge electronics firm, that sold a defectrive product, and got sued out of existence).
At this time he and I have “jobs” and we do “work” but we are totally broke. My new job has had a bait-and-switch thing going in that we discussed “15-20” hours per week. I am getting 2 hours per week, at 530 PM, 35 miles from my house, killing my ability to work the landscaping job who says they cant use me 6 hours a day. So it’s costing me $1000 a month. (I have also suspended my blog work since I so not have time to keep up with it. I am taking a beating, financially). This job WILL improve by September but I am broke now while still busting my ass.
I am not allowed to complain in this life because no matter how crappy life is for me, so many more are far more impacted than me — it is they who need the revolution even more than I do.
And who appear to need to stop holding their breath on it happening.
It is looking bleak, but WE can’t give up.
