Dolly Parton was asked on Monday about the HB2 bills and the controversies that have been drummed up by bigoted minds worrying about bathroom ghost-predators that do not exist. Parton, who has always been a strong supporter of civil rights and human rights, had this to say:
“I think everybody should be treated with respect,” Parton said in a video posted on CNN Money’s Facebook page Friday. “I don’t judge people. I try not to get too caught up in the controversy of things. I hope that everybody gets a chance to be who and what they are. I just know if I have to pee, I’m going to pee, I don’t care where it’s going to be.”
Love Dolly.
