Perhaps the most shocking thing Donald Trump said at his latest rambling, incoherent press conference was that he wants Russia to hack into Hillary Clinton’s personal emails from her time as secretary of State. He was ostensibly denying that he had any knowledge of Russia having hacked the Democratic National Convention … but he denied it by saying he hoped Russia would do more and worse.
But it would be interesting to see. I will tell you this. Russia, if you're listening, I hope you're able to find the 30,000 e-mails that are missing. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press. Let's see if that happens.
Later, asked by NBC’s Katy Tur if he had “any qualms about asking a foreign government, Russia, China, anybody, to interfere, to hack into a system of anybody in this country,” Trump said “They probably have them. If they have them, I’d like to have them released” and “it gives me no pause.”

The Clinton campaign has put out a short statement about treasonous Don’s words:
"This has to be the first time that a major presidential candidate has actively encouraged a foreign power to conduct espionage against his political opponent. That's not hyperbole, those are just the facts. This has gone from being a matter of curiosity, and a matter of politics, to being a national security issue."
