Im reading these headlines and tweets talking about how the nomination of Hillary changes everything and that women can no longer be discounted when they can be President and you are all wrong. Nothing has changed….Yet.
We are at an important moment. A historic one. But that history is not written yet. The lesson has not been finalized. The next step is the most important — winning.
If Hillary loses, women lose. You might not see another woman nominated in your life time. The narrative will be that she lost to possibly the worst candidate in modern history and she lost because she was a woman. Not because of 40 years of lies about her in the media. Not because of an entire network dedicated to hating the Clinton name. It will be because she was a woman.
- Trump has zero experience. She has more than any candidate in decades. She still lost.
- Trump conspires with our enemies. She still lost.
- Trump lies every time he opens his mouth. She still lost.
- Trump cheats at business, cheats the government and cheats on his spouses. She still lost.
- Trump pissed on half the electorate in the primaries and the other half in the general election. She still lost.
- Trump promises to break laws and violate the constitution. She still lost.
- That is how this story will be told. That at the end of the day, the American people trusted Donald Trump more than a woman. Let that sink in. That is what is at stake.
“Goodness they voted for a black man from Kenya with a terrorist name over a war hero but they wont elect a woman over an incompetent fascist liar. “
Sorry little girl, turns out you cant do everything.
Sorry ladies, there is a reason we dont pay you as much.
Sorry female population, stick to making babies.
Nothing about last night will matter if we dont elect Hillary Clinton. Losing this election will set women back 50 years. Cant win with looks (Palin), cant win with competence (Clinton). Why in the world would any party nominate a woman again?
