As I’ve mentioned in a previous blog entry, I’ve been posting as comments on Erik Paulsen's Facebook wall a daily chronicle of why he should be defeated in November. His DFL challenger is Terri Bonoff, who currently serves in the Minnesota State Senate. I will also repost these here starting today; there’s a backlog of about 20 of these, so it’ll take me a while to get up to date. The one I post here is from a few days back.
FWIW, I have absolutely no connection with Bonoff’s campaign, though I will put up a lawn sign for her on my yard and contribute financially to her campaign, in response to generic email requests sent by the DFL.
Paulsen’s war-chest is huge, much larger than Bonoff’s. It’s an uphill battle. It’s also an asymmetrical battle, and this use of social media is taking the battle directly to the opponent’s turf.

ERIK PAULSEN AND THE REPUBLICAN WRECKING BALL. Republican majorities in the Senate and the House have created a a political wrecking machine to demolish programs that among other things protect the environment, advance civil and voting rights and ensure health care accessibility for all. This is the political wrecking crew of which Erik Paulsen and Paul Ryan are enthusiastic participants. The constituents of Minnesota Congressional District 3 should not be fooled. The real Erik Paulsen is not the bipartisan moderate he portrays himself to be. He is part of the Paul Ryan project to assemble an even more dangerous wrecking crew, headed by Donald Trump himself.
This is just one reason why Erik Paulsen must be defeated this November.
