He can’t seem to play nice with anyone. And “they say shit rolls downhill,” so it’s no wonder Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s staff won’t play nice either. Salon reports a civil rights museum in Greensboro, North Carolina rejected the admission of Donald Trump after Trump’s campaign was “aggressive and rude” to the staff at The International Civil Rights Center & Museum.
Co-founder Earl Jones explained that the Trump campaign had demanded “special requests” that the museum could not grant, such as the facility remaining closed to the public for at least five hours to accommodate the Republican candidate.
“We have equal treatment for everyone coming to the museum,” Jones told WFMY, adding that his staff was contacted by the Trump campaign to plan a visit for last Tuesday, when the Republican presidential nominee would be in town for a separate speech.
Jones says they did not honor Trump’s request because the approach was disrespectful. Jones adds the bullying was “inappropriate and he thinks it’s probably reflective of the type of insensitivity [to] civil rights and human rights that’s reflective from Trump over the years.” Normally the museum welcomes everyone, but Jones said they will not allow the venue to be used for “political gain.”
The museum, which opened in 2010, is built around the famed Woolworth lunch spot where four black college students in 1960 took seats at the whites-only counter and refused to give them up, earning their place in history as “the Greensboro Four.”

Good. Hats off to Mr. Jones and the International Civil Rights Center & Museum. Sadly, the most disturbing part about this news, is that if Trump (and his cronies) felt it was okay to bully and make demands as a presidential nominee, what would this man be likely to do as a president? What demands would he and his entourage make from common folks? Remind you of an infamous leader in world history? Need I even say a name? The similarities are there and should be exposed and acknowledged. Donald Trump is a clear and present danger.
