Donald Trump only hires the best! That’s what the American people heard time and time again. And yet, his first month in office has been one bumbling, incompetent action after another. In the grand scheme of things, the items below are relatively minor. But, they are a reflection of general incompetence from the top down. If they can’t get the little things right, how can we have confidence anyone in that administration is capable of handling the more serious issues?
For example, check out this glaring typo in the official inauguration print that was being sold in the store of the Library of Congress. The item was removed on Sunday night after widespread mockery:
The only thing more embarrassing would’ve been Alec Baldwin featured in the print, as a Dominican Republic newspaper mistakenly did instead of a photo of Donald Trump.
That wasn’t the only widely mocked error by the Trump regime. Over the weekend, the official Department of Education website sent out the following tweet:
Hours later, after all of Twitter made endless jokes about Betsy DeVos already having an impact at the Department of Education, they sent out an apology tweet that was an even bigger facepalm:
Post updated – our deepest apologizes for the earlier typo. — US Dept of Education (@usedgov)
Only 1,437 days until the next president is inaugurated (provided it doesn’t happen sooner). These errors are the small, laughable ones. Let’s hope we survive the larger, more threatening ones.
