Today is Grandparents’ Day in the United States! It’s not a #sekritarmy, because it’s hard to be stealth when you’re as awesome as a grandparent, but that’s okay. First, the rules.
It’s a dog’s life for this guy.
She may wear glasses, but Grandma can still see when you’re raiding the cookie jar! Give her one too and it’s all good.
Unless it’s an oatmeal-raisin. You can keep that one!
Sometimes getting older can be challenging. Sometimes you have to eat things that don’t taste so good.
Can we get some tuna-flavored prune juice here, please!
And sometimes going to the doctor is really unpleasant!
Grandparents often help out their kids by babysitting.
They’re so adorable when they’re really little!
Okay you guys, you can each pick out one toy. Only one!
I love them but the best time of day is when I can give them back!
This guy’s grandkids helped him out, too! He was a grumpy gus who was determined to live in his own space until he was forced into “the home”, and then he met these little guys, and suddenly “the home” wasn’t such a bad place anymore.
Goggies can even babysit the human grandkids!
Some grandparents mentor their grandchildren, to their own children’s chagrin.
Alright kiddo, this is how we nap. With practice you too will be able to do this for hours on end.
At the end of the day, senior pets know they’ve done well. High five!
Happy Sunday, everyone!
