The GOP/alt-right don't consider those different from them human. What makes me say that (besides their own constant conscienceless behavior) is that a group of hundreds of them were recently evaluated by two skilled psychologists. This group of GOP/alt-right extremists scored the same on 'dehumanization measures' as ISIS/ISIL according to this article on the subject.
I've often said Republicans don't consider women human, for instance. That is evidenced in their attitudes towards and treatment of women in the US every day. But now we have some actual metrics and psychological evaluation of hundreds of them to back up that claim:
Women are judged to be only 83.1% human by GOP/alt-right. Here’s how the GOP/alt-right rated the following demographic groups on how “evolved” (human) they are. Feminists, muslims, and Hillary Clinton fall to the bottom.
Republicans believe they (and anyone conservative, heterosexual, white and male) are superior to everyone else. It's flat-out racism and sexism. Yet they whine when anyone calls them racist or sexist, claiming it's just not so! But it obviously is quite true.
And, like ISIS/ISIL or any other terrorist groups, the GOP/alt-right believes in torturing and/or killing those who look different than them or who have differing (or no) religious beliefs than theirs.
Remember from the paragraph above that psychologists noted that their alt-right subjects scored as high on 'dehumanization measures' as ISIS/ISIL. But what does that GOP/alt-right style of "jihad" look like in practice?
Here is just one example of the blatant admittance that they endeavor to torture or kill those who disagree with their extreme beliefs:
And here is another of the numerous recent examples of the GOP/alt-right's "jihad" against the "infidels" ie: those who do not share the alt-right/GOP's extreme religious beliefs:
The GOP/alt-right also believe women should never hold positions of power or be allowed to vote. Their favorite spokesperson Richard Spencer on the matter: http://www.newsweek.com/alt-right-leader-richard-spencer-isnt-sure-if-women-should-be-allowed-vote-685048?amp=1
The GOP/alt-right portray all women as boundlessly "vindictive". Never mind we have probably the most vindictive person on the planet in the Oval Office just now and he's MALE. And never mind that virtually every war on Earth was started by a MALE or MALES, and that most sexual assaults and mass shootings are committed by MEN (even when males are the victims).
The absolute worst case of PMS or menopause could never compete with the lunacy, vengefulness and vindictiveness of DONALD TRUMP -- yet the GOP/alt-right will still insist women are the problem and that Harvey Weinstein's behavior is all Hillary Clinton's fault.
These are the same "blaming women for bad male behavior" tactics practiced by Muslim countries who practice Sharia Law. When a woman is raped in some countries with extreme Muslim beliefs, SHE is stoned to death for being 'impure' and 'dishonoring the family', but the rapist goes free.
Yet the GOP/alt-right claim to strongly dislike Sharia Law even though they clearly practice their own version of it here every time they blame women for, or force women to pay for bad male behavior. A prime example is Harvey Weinstein. For a week now, the GOP/alt-right and the media have endeavored to make Weinstein's behavior Hillary Clinton's fault. And any woman in the US who has ever been sexually assaulted knows what happens when/if she reports it. SHE is immediately considered the guilty party -- ie: the "perp", while the guy who assaulted her isn't even part of the conversation. SHE is the one whose life is ruined.
I don't think fear of Sharia Law overtaking the US is what drives these so-called "Christian" extremists. I think their REAL fear is that they already practice their own version of it here in the US -- and they do not want that threatened by others in the US who don't harbor such dehumanizing, extreme beliefs as the GOP/alt-right do. This is why I call them the American Taliban.
These outrageous quotes are direct from the mouth of a single Republican state legislator in Virginia who faces re-election in just one month:
On rape: "The woman becomes a sin-bearer of the crime, because the right of a child predominates over the embarrassment of the woman." (remember this hate group — these terrorists — like most of them around the world — do not consider women human)
On disabled children: "The number of children who are born subsequent to a first abortion with handicaps has increased dramatically. Why? Because when you abort the first born of any, nature takes its vengeance on the subsequent children." (disabled children are “nature’s vengeance”?)
On LGBT Americans: "If I needed a blood transfusion and the guy next to me had committed sodomy 14 times in the last month, I'd be worried." (nevermind that a gay black woman saved Steven Scalise’s life for him)
On Obamacare: "Forcible economic rape." (Because ensuring everyone has affordable healthcare and doesn’t needlessly die from curable or preventable illness or injury is the same thing as rape?)
Who is funding these US terrorist organizations and hate groups? It appears most of their funding comes from a combination of Robert Mercer, William Regnery and Hatreon according to this AJ+ piece, while a couple of their favorite hate mongering spokespersons are Richard Spencer and Steve Bannon, both referenced above:
In view of all this, I truly think we can now quite accurately call the GOP/alt-right a hate group or a terrorist organization and be done with it. I believe they should be added to the US hate group rosters at the SPLC and elsewhere right next to the KKK and ISIS. No difference anymore.
