“Why would a Russian affiliated or controlled website run a review of a book saying Trump was mentally ill?” was the original title of this section but now I just can’t figure out what to call Global Research. A seemingly well research entry on Quora says the publisher, “ The Centre for Research on Globalization, also known as the Centre for Global Research and Mondialisation.ca is a fascist/Kremlin-funded propaganda outlet that defames and slanders their targeted groups such as Jews, Ukrainians, the United States, and other western countries. “ Another review website considers it to be a very far left website or, on or the other, a conspiracy website. A message board thread from 2013-2016 from The Democratic Understand shows others are as confused about the political leaning of this site as I am. I don’t know what to think, except that it is curious that they published a review of our Duty to Warn book “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump.”
A website called “Global Research” just posted an article entitled “Is Trump the World’s Most Dangerous Man?” by Stephen Lendman. It’s a review of the Duty to Warn book everyone in the mental health community is talking about, “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump,” published this week. It offers opinions from over two dozen mental health experts.
The author of the review summarizes the book as follows:
They found “overwhelming evidence of profound sociopathic traits,” along with malignant narcissism.
Both disorders can cause loss of reality, paranoia, bullying, violent impulses, low self-esteem, lying, cheating, rage, impulsivity, lack of empathy or compassion, and possibly dementia or alzheimer’s disease.
I didn't think much about the website when I posted a link to it on the Facebook group page for Duty to Warn (see the bottom of this page). It looked legit. However, I noted the spelling of the publishing organization center with an e. and that the domain was Canadian I thought to look up the organization. I was planning to tout the fact that yet another international group recognized the DTW movement. I was surprised at what I discovered!
Is this a Russian affiliated or controlled website? Is it a far-right website or a far-left website with no state sponsorship? Is it just a conspiracy website? Or is it just a platform for anybody who wants to post somewhere online. I didn’t come up with any answers.
This is the first entry I found on the reader analysis website Quora. It sounds credible. Other entries seem as if they were written by a PR person for Global Research. Judge for yourself.
Journalistic Ethics and Norms: How legitimate is The Centre for Global Research?
It is by no means an objectively reliable media source. The articles, videos, and other media it puts forth are highly skewed and often factually inaccurate.
Some people have been quoting it as a legitimate source, but it has very strong ties to an organization known for churning out blatant propaganda.
The Centre for Research on Globalization, also known as the Centre for Global Research and Mondialisation.ca is a fascist/Kremlin-funded propaganda outlet that defames and slanders their targeted groups such as Jews, Ukrainians, the United States, and other western countries.
Its peers include the Transnational Foundation for Peace and Future Research, the British Helsinki Human Rights Group, the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity, and the Institute for Democracy and Cooperation and the Nashi Youth.

In 2014, the Centre for Research on Globalization aided the Kremlin in carrying out a defamation campaign against Ukraine, the US, the EU and NATO.
Pro-Russian network behind the anti-Ukrainian defamation campaign
There has been a huge tide of false, incorrect and bloated reports that exaggerate or over-emphasize the significance of the far right in the current Euromaidan protests in Ukraine. A Moscow-based journalist Alec Luhn writes in The Nation about "the Ukrainian nationalism at the heart of ‘Euromaidan’", a leftist Seumas Milne argues in The Guardian that "in Ukraine, fascists, oligarchs and western expansion are at the heart of the crisis", while a self-styled "independent geopolitical analyst" Eric Draitser, in his nauseatingly misleading piece for his own Stop Imperialism (later re-published by The Centre for Research on Globalization), even goes so far as to claim that "the violence on the streets of Ukraine [...] is the latest example of the rise of the most insidious form of fascism that Europe has seen since the fall of the Third Reich". [...]
The Canada-based Centre for Research on Globalization is also interesting. It was founded and is now headed by Michel Chossudovsky; among the Centre's contributors are Neil Clark, Mahdi D. Nazemroaya and William Engdahl. Chossudovsky, Nazemroaya and Engdahl are members of the scientific committee of the Italian journal Geopolitica, which also includes John Laughland and Natalya Narochnitskaya. Geopolitica is edited by Tiberio Graziani, a fervent advocate of the Eurasian cooperation and a member of the High Council of the International Eurasian Movement led by Russian fascist Aleksandr Dugin. In 2008, Dugin called for the Russian occupation of Georgia, and even made a trip to South Ossetia together with his followers from the Eurasian Youth Union.
Geopolitica itself is an off-shoot from the Italian extreme right journal Eurasia, Rivista di Studi Geopolitici, published and edited by Italian Nazi-Maoist Claudio Mutti.
The majority of their readership comes from the US, Canada, India, the UK and Australia. They also produce content on YouTube and are quoted (and upvoted) in Reddit and sometimes Quora.
This is from a main page article from Global Research: The Las Vegas Massacre: The Media Narrative is Deceptive
What the media do not say is that there is video and witness evidence that there were at least two more shooters, maybe more, one from a lower floor and another at the Bellagio Hotel that was locked down. This means that there was a conspiracy involved. They don’t mention this so that someone like me can do so and be branded a “conspiracy theorist,” the term created by the CIA to besmirch anyone questioning the official narrative of the JFK assassination. You will notice that I am not – purposefully – linking to this evidence that I assert exists, nor am I raising more of the many questions surrounding this case. I am hoping that readers will research these matters themselves, and if they discover that there is evidence proving that there was more than one shooter, then, just as with the magic bullet absurdity in the JFK case, they will conclude, ipso facto, that the MSM are involved in a cover-up of a conspiracy, which is itself a conspiracy – a factual conspiracy, not a conspiracy theory. And if that is so, they will ask why, and who is being protected. Cui bono? Why would the MSM push this narrative of the lonely crazed gunman?
Here’s another excerpt from another article on the main page: From Global Poverty to Exclusion and Despair: Reversing the Tide of War and Globalization
What we are dealing with is an imperial project broadly serving global economic and financial interests including Wall Street, the Military Industrial Complex, Big Oil, the Biotech conglomerates, Big Pharma, The Global Narcotics Economy and the Media and Information Giants.
Also, September 11, 2001 followed by the invasion of Afghanistan on October 7, 2001, also marks the official launch of the so-called “global war on terrorism” which has served as a justification for US-NATO led wars and interventions in the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia.
The Global War on Terrorism is Fake
Amply documented, Al Qaeda and its various affiliates including ISIS-Daesh are creations of US intelligence.
Pre-emptive Nuclear Doctrine
Meanwhile, a major shift in US nuclear doctrine has occurred with the adoption of the doctrine of preemptive warfare, namely war as an instrument of “self defense”. The ideology of preemptive warfare also applies to the use of nuclear weapons on a pre-emptive basis. In 2002, the US administration put forth the concept of preemptive nuclear war, namely the use of nuclear weapons against enemies of America as a means of self defense.
