I’ve been duly educated by the informative comments I’ve received thus far. Sadly, I’ve come to agree that Dems could only have put off the inevitable tax bill. I was just being overly optimistic. Those folks really and truly are a Satanic lot!
However, I do wish that since I brought up the subject of sexual harassment, I would like to clarify a point. Black women have faced a far uglier history of sexual harassment than any other group in American society. You can look up sexual slavery and the ‘fancy girl trade”, where slave owners raped slave women, then sold their mulatto daughters to brothels, any time you’re in the mood to vomit. So, we do not take the matter likely. It is in fact malicious for others who grumble that blacks don’t care as I’ve often heard because we tend to be less enthusiastic about tossing Democrats out of Congress. But there is something those of you who haven’t walked in our shoes should understand or at least attempt to do so.
We also deal on a daily basis with racism, racial discrimination and with our unarmed children getting shot by those most Americans call upon to uphold the law. For the sake of our survival and that of our families, we must think strategically. If the pussy-grabber is also President of the United States and his political party not only supports the worst sexual offenders, e.g. Roy Moore, but the neo-Nazis and white Supremacists, who are intent on establishing a fascist, police state as well, then we focus. Our first priority is to go after the GOP majority in Congress. Is it asking too much for white feminists, to understand our situation rather than accuse us of being sexist?
