Blue state groups often find their elected officials are already on board. So why not help red states?
During the Obama campaign one of the key decisions that they made was to use volunteers in blue states to help their volunteers in red states with volunteer recruitment, voter contact, or canvassing. This type of thing happens all the time in campaigns. Now imagine if Indivisible could do the same.

In fact, it can do it pretty easily, without the need for central coordination, although that might help. All your blue state Indivisible group needs to do is look up an Indivisible group in a city of equal or lesser size in a red state and send them a message. This would most likely be through Facebook.

If your group is in a red state, don’t be shy, reach out to a group in a blue state to ask for their help. What type of activities could you help another group with by coordinating between group leaders? Most of the activities in the Indivisible handbook require people to help, especially recruitment calls.

Social media is great but person to person conversations are the best way to get recruits to commit. By using this simple approach red state groups could double their volunteer base and rate of growth with blue state calls or texts to red state Democrats to recruit more volunteers to help them RESIST.
All the activism is making a difference as others have described. Time to ramp it up and nationwide.
