Michael Moore had a piece in HuffPo today detailing ways each of us can take action to current political events. The entire column is available here. In it, he mentions an app that makes it incredibly simple to contact your representatives. You enter your zip code. It tells you who your state and local representatives are. You select from a list of issues. Then it gives you talking points and even dials the phone for you. It's incredibly easy to use, even for people who hate to talk. I want to encourage people to download the app and make some calls. If you prefer to leave a message rather than talk to an aide, call outside office hours. It still gets logged and counted. I’ve already made three calls today, which equals my lifetime total before today. The app is called 5 Calls. Check it out in your app store.
