Explain in 100 words or less why the "enemy of the people" press plays along with this bullshit coverage game. From a February 28 pool report:
Pool was ushered into the East Room at 11:17 a.m. Your pooler had been told just before we walked in that POTUS would no longer make remarks.
POTUS, wearing a dark suit and red tie, was on a riser, standing on the first row of three rows, surrounded by members of the National Association of Attorneys General. About 25 members were present.
"Some great people, some great people," POTUS said. And then he added: "And up here," he said looking around next to him.
Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, who was standing to his left, responded: "Thank you, Mr. President."
Pool was ushered out of the room less than one minute later.
The media needs to get a clue—and some dignity—and refuse to show up for these dog and pony show events.
