It’s the day that is etched into everyone’s mind: the Bowling Green Massacre. We all know where we were that day. And the response of the world — all of those people changing their Facebook profile pictures of the Southcentral Kentucky Community Technical College, or the Farmer’s Market, or the Arbys on Russelville Road. We all have our stories of how we dealt with the tragedy… we each had to work through it in our own way.
But perhaps we should open our hearts one more time. I of course live nowhere near anywhere a proper place to commemorate it. But a touching memorial for the victims has apparently been planned for tomorrow.
Bowling Green Massacre Victims Vigil
Naturally, thanks to his tireless work toward keeping the victims of this massacre in our hearts and minds, the vigil will be held at Trump Tower in New York City. If you can go, carry a candle for me, will you? If not, please share and raise awareness of this important event!
