DeVos now has free rein to kill public education

Once the “No” votes ticked over to 50 with Senator Blumenthal, I knew we’d lost.  I was surprised not to see a liveblog of this important vote here. But that’s part of Cheeto McClownstick’s method — overwhelm us with too many things to cover all at once. 

I hope that this country realizes that we are now unrecoverable. Public education is going the way of the dodo, and we will never again have an intelligent enough electorate to vote for the people who will actually address their issues.
