Milwaukee’s answer to Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Sheriff David Clarke, looks like he may be in bigger trouble than his snowflake’s sensibility can handle. There’s a new sheriff in town, and since he isn’t David Clarke, he’s already a better candidate for just about everything but the Trump circus.
Former Milwaukee Police Capt. Earnell Lucas, a vice president for Major League Baseball, is planning to challenge Clarke in the 2018 Democratic primary, according to his campaign adviser.
"Earnell hasn't announced, but he's decided to get into this race," said Sachin Chheda, a political strategist at Nation Consulting. "Earnell is in the process of getting organized."
Sheriff Clarke had no comment at this time and considering that he is as unpopular as his fuhrer is, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him massaging Trump’s shoulders in an Air Force One photograph in the near future. Mr. Lucas will have to fill the bully shoes of Sheriff Clarke, but as long as he doesn’t abuse his power by having police harass innocent college students, he should be a huge improvement.
