Here’s some schedenfraude to start your day. White House aide Sebastian Gorka likely edited his own Wikipedia page, which isn’t only against the site’s rules (you can’t edit/write about yourself), but also really embarrassing because he didn’t even try to cover his tracks.
CNN Reports:
A Wikipedia user who goes by "Sk-Gorka" has extensively edited the Wikipedia page of White House aide Sebastian Gorka, including a section on criminal charges he faced for bringing a firearm into a Washington D.C. airport.
It is unclear if the user is connected to Gorka. Gorka did not respond to a request for comment.
The user, however, has only made
edits to the pages of Gorka and his wife, Katharine Gorka. Those edits include adding photos and information about Gorka's policy speeches and books. The user created the page for Katharine Gorka.
Hmmm, I wonder what the “S” and “K” stand for in “Sk-Gorka” 🤔🤔 .
CNN reporter Andrew Kaczynski tried to get us some answers, but it didn’t quite work out.
Come on, Gorka. I’m sure you’re rich enough to have hired someone to do this for you at least. Or maybe you had enough brain cells left over to not use such an obvious username?
The funniest part is Gorka’s response to inquiries on the matter.
OH, COME ON, Gorka. Do you not know how to use technology? You know you can block your account from sending read receipts, right?
Is he behind the account? We don’t know for sure — but it’s pretty likely. It doesn’t help that he’s hanging up and ignoring reporters.
I think he doth protest too much.
