The Vice President knew exactly what he was doing when he signed up to take the second position on the ballot. He knew he was going to probably lose the Governor's race. He was very unpopular and his star was sinking fast.
There is a reason Paul Manafort faked the trouble with Trump's airplane . The question is why? By now we know Manafort is under investigation, he is up to his eyeballs in the Russian scandal. If Manafort wanted Mike Pence as Vice President, it was not because he looked presidential The real question is what connection does Mike Pence have to the Russians, or what kompromat is known about him, that made him the perfect stooge to run on the ticket with Trump?
We know Pence was on the transition team. We also know that He was in charge of vetting. He should have know Mike Flynn was uniquely unqualified to be National Security Advisor to the president. We know he was told at the very least by Congressman Cummings. Pence denies he knew anything. So either is is lying or is incompetent. Which is it?
The White House continues to place the blame on Flynn's firing on the fact that FLynn lied to Mike Pence. It’s a ridiculous assumption that the White House is telling the truth. It does not pass the smell test. Furthermore, it seems to be a way to keep Pence at arms length from the Russian investigation.
Who gave Trump the idea that they could use the “lie” to fire Flynn. Who wants to keep Mike Pence clean enough to become President if Trump goes down? Pence has either repeatedly lied, or is very incompetent and showed a stunning disregard for doing the job of being in charge of the transition team. Neither explanation is good.
There are numerous reports of Mike Pence being in the room when decisions are made. I think the GOP has been purposely trying to keep Pence clean in case Trump is declared incompetent, resigns or is impeached. We need to ring the bell loud and clear Pence is Complicit.
