5 Easy Recipes For RV Road Trip
1] Fluffy Omelet
Fluffy omelet is the easiest breakfast recipe you can make. All it needs is eggs, salt and pepper, and butter.
Get the number of eggs as per your need. Separate egg white and egg yolk in different bowls. Add some salt and pepper to both mixtures and whisk more than usual until it starts looking like a fluffy paste.
Combine the two and mix them well until the pan is heating. Add salt-free butter to the pan and pour the egg mixture.
You can sprinkle some parmesan cheese and let the omelet cook. That’s it, your fluffy as cake breakfast omelet is ready.
2] Spontaneous Pizza
Carry ready made Pizza bases, pesto spread, and tomato sauce in the RV fridge.
As the name suggests, you can get very creative with this pizza. Use any vegetables or ingredients you have as toppings.
To give you an idea, chop bell pepper, onions, tomatoes, or zucchini. You can also add some chopped hot dogs or bacon.
Take a pizza base and spread either pesto sauce or tomato sauce on it. Top it with chopped ingredients, sprinkle lots of cheese, and let it microwave.
As the cheese melts, your spontaneous pizza is ready to eat.
3] Mac & Cheese in a Mug
Who doesn’t love Mac & Cheese, right? It’s a go-to meal with a homely feeling.
And now, with just 5 ingredients, you can make one in a mug or a bowl.
Take the necessary amount of Macaroni in the large mug. Pour some cold water and a teaspoon of olive oil to prevent pasta from sticking. Boil it in a microwave.
Once the pasta is cooked, remove the excess water and add some milk, cornstarch, salt and pepper, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well and microwave for another minute or two.
A delicious mug of Mac & Cheese is ready to fill your tummy with a snap of fingers.
4] Turkey Taco
Sounds pretty intense, but this dish is as easy as A-B-C.
Heat the pan and add a spoonful of olive oil. Add chopped onions and turkey into the pan along with Mexican spice mix (You can get this from any supermarket).
Saute until the turkey is nicely cooked. You can either mix tomato sauce or chopped tomatoes into the filling.
It’s assembly time. Place the generous amount of turkey filling on the tortilla of your choice. Garnish it with cheese, lettuce, or fresh cilantro. Squeeze some lime juice, and it’s done.
Enjoy a warm taco with a marvelous view from your RV.
5] Instant Pot Spaghetti
Instant pot will be your cooking companion in an RV, and you can cook many things in it.
To make spaghetti:
-
Set the pot in saute mode.
-
Add olive oil, onions, ground beef, and saute until cooked.
-
Sprinkle some salt and pepper.
Pour marinara sauce over it, add some water on top, submerge the spaghetti noodles into the water and let everything cook.
Serve it warm in a bowl with a sprinkle of cheese. You won’t believe how delicious the spaghetti would taste.
