“Dear Representative Mimi Walters-
I have been infuriated by your vote to steal $800 BILLION from the American Citizenry...calling it "the American Health Care Act" is plainly obscene.
I'm embarrassed that I voted for you. Personally embarrassed. Every day. Alone, in my home. I can't talk to my friends about it, they'll lose all respect for me having been duped so badly.
It's become easy to picture you, hovering over your Mom's sickbed, saying "Hurry up and die, MOM, I want to use the money that would have made you well to give myself a giant tax break." ..."love you". Easy for you to explain, because YOU DID THIS to her. Well, to MY Mom, anyhow. Can you come talk to her for a while? Maybe she'll feel better about not being able to walk because she can't afford meds that jumped from a $20 copay to $200 monthly as soon as YOU could do that to her.
Access to care shouldn't be determined by income. Your vote to make it harder and more expensive for constituents like me to find and afford health insurance is SHAMEFUL. Your vote was irresponsible and I will remember it every day until Nov. 2018.
When you see the "Repeal and Replace Mimi Walters" vinyl car stickers and yard signs as you peer up from your usual scrunched-into-your-seat-hiding-place to avoid being seen by voters whenever you come to *my* District 45 in Orange County, think of me. Because I'll be thinking about you. About doing all I can to Repeal and Replace you. We can call it a RECALL, just between friends, ok?
With Love,
James”
