The time for a special prosecutor has passed.
Now it’s time for the American people to protest en masse to remove Trump immediately. Forget impeachment, forget a long, drawn out trial. It’s too late for that too.
We need to protest, millions and millions of us (5 times the size of the incredible Women’s March). We must demand the instant removal of Trump, his corrupt cronies, and every single complicit GOP congressman.
To those who might reply to me stating such and such about the Constitution: with all due respect, fuck the Constitution. This is too serious and there is too much at stake to continue to go high whenever the opposition goes low. If the GOP wants to wipe their asses on the Constitution and insist that America be turned into an authoritarian state, all gloves are off!
Let’s get a massive “Remove Trump Now!” protest going! Let’s start it right planning now!
Update:
After reading some of the comments here, I want to add this.
Workers care more about their jobs than they do about the country becoming an authoritarian state? Wow, I have to say I’m extremely disappointed in some of the responses here. This is much more serious than someone’s 9-to-5.
Besides: citizens are able to massively protest tax returns or women’s rights, but not to remove Trump and his cronies? Sorry if I find that insanely hard to swallow.
Update: I do realize that there are limitations to everyone’s schedules. I’m aware that I’m mildly freaking out(!) tonight with the news of James Comey’s firing, so I’m feeling uncharacteristically impatient to get him out. I apologize if I may come off rudely to some of you in the comment section; it’s a tense time for us and it is most certainly affecting my stress level.
However, my overall idea has not changed and I do believe that America must demand his removal.
Perhaps we could start planning a Removal protest as a back-up plan in case the current grand juries and investigations fail to deliver an impeachment and arrests. That would give us time to organize. What do you all think about that possibility.
