Good news from the 6th district today via the AJC:
Early voting: the first three days of early voting show a highly accelerated rate: 33,957 versus 55,000 for the entire early voting period in the first round. The distribution is encouraging also:
As of the latest absentee voter file from the Secretary of State’s office, 33,957 early and advance votes have been cast to date in the Sixth Congressional District Special Runoff Election:

Cobb, 32 percent;
DeKalb, 23 percent.
In the early vote so far, the percentages above are:
— Fulton, 50 percent;
— Cobb, 20 percent;
— DeKalb, 29 percent.
Registering voters — On another front, after the federal lawsuit confirming that persons could vote who registered after the cut-off for the first round and 30 days before June 20, 8,000 new voters were added. he bulk of these are from Democratic favoring groups. this is about 4% of the number of voters in the first round.
