Has everyone seen all the great acting by the Senate Republicans on their healthcare bill? Besides saying how they are not cutting Medicaid and how it will improve healthcare, we have the soap opera drama of the fainting “moderates” lead by the Senate’s own Susan Lucci from the Great State of Maine. Now, it is reported that Senator Johnson of Wisconsin says that that there is “No Way” the Senate should vote on McConnell’s tax cutting scheme.
It sounds like Johnson said, “No Way,” but he didn’t. If he truly meant “No Way” he wouldn’t have hedged with “should” in his statement. He’s like the one kid in a group that says, “We shouldn’t be doing this!” but sticks with his buddies as they are breaking and entering into someone’s home.
The cops don’t care that you had second thoughts or warned the others. They just arrest all of you. And I got news for you Senator Johnson: your voters shouldn’t care either when you end up taking away their healthcare coverage or jacking up their premiums and deductibles to Mars. They should just vote you out of office for being a go along asshole.
