James Magaska Swan, leader of the United Urban Warrior Society, has been going after people who are cashing in on Native American culture and traditionalism, particularly those who say they are spiritual leaders. The UUWS even has a Facebook page, the
U.U.W.S. Exposing the Fakes Project, where culture vultures like fake medicine men and others who exploit Native American culture and sacred traditions are exposed. Usually, the big draw for these charlatans is getting money from unsuspecting people. Anyhow, Mr. Swan shared this funny satirical look at fake medicine men on his Facebook page and although he did not write it, whoever did has a great voice for satire. Swan said the Facebook posting, like many, reads like a meme without the author’s name attached.

4) Suddenly, all his ceremonies seem real familiar after you watch the movie
"Billy Jack" again.
5) The only Tribal Nation he is affiliated with is ~ Send a Donation!
6) Rich White Women from California are convinced he needs a different color for each of the Four Directions.
8) The only thing in his Pipe Bag is a portable Credit Card Machine.
9) In order to attend one of his Sweat Lodges, you need to contact Ticket Master.
10) . . .And the number 1 sure sign your Medicine Man is a Scam Artist is...His sacred White Buffalo Robe...reeks of Spray Paint!
