Not really a diary here. I am just looking for someone out there that can see a bigger picture.
I don't know if anyone has proposed this. Reducing eligibility for Medicare to 62. I think it would be a great boost to the economy. Like Obamacare removed around 2 million from the workforce opening up jobs for 2 million.
Doing this with Medicare would be a great boost. It seems like such a no brainer to me. Seems like a win win way for us progressives to change the conversation. I know at least 4 people at my job just waiting for Medicare to kick in before retiring and they are under 65. They want to leave but are afraid of losing health care. This should be explored by every angle.
