It’s a long read, but really frames well a lot of the Who, What, Where, When, and Why about what has been going on in this administration, as well as plays “Pin the Tail on the Donkey” on Russia’s very stout opposition to the Magnitsky Act.
A whole host of people acting as foreign agents forgot to register as foreign agents while they hired ready and willing American lobbyists to operate against the US Government. People have died. Lawyers have gotten killed.
This sheds new light on what it is about Putin that Trump admires so much.
On the one hand, I cannot believe this has been buried, surely I missed what others know all about. Right? On the other hand, if I missed it then others may have too. So, this may be a repeat, a rehash of someone else’s older blog. Apologies if this is a repeat.
It’s so hard to keep up with this crew. How can anyone manage?
William Browder gave sobering testimony to Congress, but Trump and Mooch distracted and derailed that from having any impact with American psyche. Just say stupid and outrageous things, then watch while the press predictably lingers and forgets all about why they’re there just like during the campaign.
In my opinion, that Atlantic article is well worth your time to read, it really clears out the chaos that is a unique trademark to this peculiar Presidency.
