John McCaa is a newscaster in North Texas….where there has been a rash of Jewish desecrations, as well as other toxic acts that are also permeating throughout the U.S. and around the world.
Mr. McCaa wanted the fools who perpetrate these acts to know exactly what and who they are. And what and who we are.
And, in just a minute and a half, he calmly did just that.
I couldn’t have said it better in a week of Sundays.
And to expand on it ...would be superfluous.
“What binds us are certain beliefs, certain principles of equality, fair treatment and justice…..”
There were 100 anti-semitic incidents in the first 10 days of Trump’s election, reports the SPLC. Within the first month of the election, the NYPD reported 43 acts of hate. And there were over 150 bomb-threats to Jewish temples and community centers.
Worldwide there has been a 12% drop in incidents...the largest being felt in France with a 58% drop.
Bucking this trend, aside from the U.S., has been in England, were in 2016, it increased 36% from the year before with 1,309 incidents. Alas, this year looks to break that record with over 800 already.
Here’s a link to an interactive map of anti-semitic acts in the U.S., from the non-profit ProPublica. Please note that most of the incidents are in areas with large Jewish populations. Though there are 160 acts of hate on the map… in the U.S., the number is now closer to 800 since the election.
And to those that feel it necessary to spew their hate outward…..as John McCaa said,
"We know what to expect from men and women with no backbone... They don't walk, they slither."

In part:
So… it is with these folks, spitting venom from the shadows, from beneath the rocks and inside the crevices in which they hope to hide among us and create a wedge between us.
If ever there was a time for every church and mosque in America, every temple and house of worship for that matter every agnostic and atheist to stand together in unwavering support of our fellow citizens who are Jewish, it is now to send a message that fear mongers have no power here.
…
This is not a Kum Ba Yah moment. It is a stand up and show some courage moment… and let your children see what you believe moment, a teaching moment.
