This is kind of an in memorium slideshow for Heather Heyer, and it does include a video clip of the attack (which is graphic in the sense that it’s a horrifying act, but you don’t really see any blood or wounds, although there is little question that people have been hurt). The slideshow actually isn't designed to offend anybody, except maybe neo-Nazis and the president. I've had the bad (and not really that close) pun on Don/John in the back of my mind for the last few weeks, but the events of last weekend sort of precipitated the creation of the slideshow, in that Heather’s death provided a focus for the grief Townes Van Zandt’s song so powerfully describes and constitutes the soundtrack for this video. Making these slideshows is really a form of therapy for me (any monies from YouTube ads go to YouTube and the copyright holders). Something about creating a sequence of images set to music that has always powerfully moved me is profoundly soothing, almost a way of processing and expressing my emotions. However, if people are offended, I'll certainly understand, and try to respond appropriately.
