I happened to watch the Eleventh Hour last night, where Brian Williams had Jeremy Peters from the NY Times and Charlie Sykes, commentator, discussed if there was a brave Republican Congressperson that would stand up to 45. They didn't know of a Republican Congressperson that could or would. They happened to mention that perhaps after the business community had abandoned him, the Republicans might find the courage.
It’s time to call your Congressional representatives, especially if you're a person of color and then flat out ask them, do you represent me? If you do, stand up to 45. If not, resign because you're not doing your job. It's that simple.
On Tuesday, we all heard 45 imply he will only represent a small fraction of this nation. If your not white, you don't amount to much unless your can give him all the adulation he desires. He is NOT upholding his Constitutional oath that he swore to in January.
Our forefathers didn't give their lives fighting the Nazis or the Confederates to hand the country back over to them. This needs to be mentioned when talking to your representatives. Remind them that corporate CEO’s could stand in up to 45, so it's about time for them to grow a backbone. This is a moment in time when we need them to show actual courage.
