Yessiree… nope. Not a coward.
Christopher Cantwell — a 36-year-old self-proclaimed fascist — recently recorded video of himself discussing the fact that a warrant was issued for his arrest after the rally in Virginia. That video, in which Cantwell wipes away tears as he talks about the events that occurred during and after the violent rally, quickly went viral.
But now the neo-Nazi from New Hampshire is fighting against claims of cowardice.
“Please be careful. I’m willing to fight and die with you. I’m not a coward. But we are not prepared for the conflict we are about to walk into,” he wrote in a message on the social network Gab.
“Yeah, cause cowards and feds always jump into brawls risking life, limb, and liberty for the white race,” Cantwell also wrote.
Ok, well, now that that’s all cleared up.
Let’s have another look at his crybaby performance from yesterday.
“I called the Charlottesville Police Department,” Cantwell said, “and said, ‘I have been told there’s a warrant out for my arrest.’ They said they wouldn’t confirm it but that I could find this out I could go to a magistrate or whatever.”
“With everything that’s happening, I don’t think it’s very wise for me to go anywhere,” he continued. “There’s a state of emergency, the National Guard is here!”
He kept breaking off to wipe away tears, saying, “I don’t know what to do. I need guidance.”
“Our enemies will not stop, they’ve been threatening us all over the place,” he whined before freaking out that Chelsea Manning is threatening to “curb stomp” Nazis.
“We are trying to make this peaceful, we are trying to be law abiding,” he claimed, in spite of the fact that website the Daily Stormer called for Nazis to disrupt the funeral of Heather Heyer, 32, who was killed when a Nazi marcher plowed his car into a group of anti-racist protesters.
“I’m terrified,” he said to law enforcement officers in the clip. “I think you’re going to kill me.”
And then his hyper-macho performance from Vice News.
This is what he had to say the day after the Charlottesville protest, particularly about the death of Heather Heyer.
Cantwell: I’d say it was worth it. We knew we were going to meet a lot of resistance. The fact that nobody on our side died, I’d call that points for us. The fact that none of our people killed anybody unjustly is a plus for us. And I think we showed our rivals that we will not be cowed.
Vice: But the car that struck a protestor (actually 19) that’s unprovoked.
Cantwell: That’s not true and you know that’s not true, you’ve seen the video.
Vice: I don’t know much about it, please describe what the video appears to show.
Cantwell: The video shows someone striking that vehicle. When these animals attacked him again and he saw no way to get away from them he hit the gas.[Yeah, that’s a lie] Sadly, because our rivals are a bunch of stupid animals who don’t pay attention they couldn’t just get out of the way of his car. And some people got hurt, and that’s unfortunate.
Vice: So you think it was justified?
Cantwell: I think it was more than justified. I can’t believe… the amount of restraint that out people showed out there… I think was astounding.
Vice: What does this mean for the next Unite the Right protest?
Cantwell: I think it’s going to be tough to top but we’re up for the challenge.
Vice: Tough to top? Someone died.
Cantwell: I think a lot more people are going to die before we’re done here frankly.
Vice: Why?
Cantwell: Why? Because people die every day.
Charmer, ain’t he?
