I have been posting comments and so have others that Nazi Supremacist types need to be vilified and persecuted in the most persistent ways possible, and we are seeing that to a hardcore degree. Society, meaning everyone who knows and comes into contact with someone who feels comfortable openly discussing bigoted hate oriented ideas needs to openly tell them what they are talking about is vile and despicable. The harder people respond to letting each and every bigot know that they are seen as pieces of shit by normal people, Americans, the quicker they will go back to keeping it to themselves.
It was the level of identification and following in social media and where the people involved in their “protest” live that is making them think about being seen at the scheduled events. Media coverage of crying whiny little tough guy bitches is trashing those who were getting visibly involved. Guys losing jobs because they were at these rallies is having it's effect. Not only that, those who have these views are increasingly no longer safe talking about them on the job to coworkers or customers because their employers may fire them as a preemptive move.
This doesn’t mean they are going away, it will simply mean they will go back to operating under the radar to a degree. It is the fact that a president has openly empowered these people into believing that this is what Americans want and need that has increased the degree of open hostility to people of color. It is this hard response and reaction that let’s these people know that normal people on the street will and are capable of speaking out and letting them know how they feel in the harshest terms, we are not and cannot be worried about hurting the feelings of those who are capable of unfeeling attitudes and actions against others.
This is not a matter of advocating a “keep it up” message, it’s more like this is working to an incredibly successful manner. This is working, ramp it up, employers need to let those who are openly racist know it will not be tolerated, that it has nothing to do with freedom of speech or beliefs that come under constitutional protections…
Bigotry and hatred is unconstitutional (in this context as follows), and it cannot be tolerated. While there is a freedom to assemble and speak openly about issues and concerns, what they are promoting is is illegal and unacceptable, they are promoting the concept of persecuting people they hate, this actually is not even a gray line, it’s over the line.
