National Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States; will begin on Friday September 15th, through, Sunday October 15th.
Sept 15th, was chosen as the starting point for the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month because it is the anniversary of independence of five Latin American countries: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. In addition, Mexico and Chile celebrate their independence days on Sept. 16th and Sept 18th.
During National Hispanic Heritage Month we recognize the contributions made and the important presence of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the United States and celebrate their heritage and culture.

Students learn about life in Latin America while raising funds that support education and empowerment programs for the artists we work with and their communities.
Being involved with the Pulsera Project is 100% free and there is no requirement to sell any certain number of pulseras.
