I don’t know if Trump is tired of winning yet, but he’s so ashamed of losing that he’s trying to pretend it never happened. In recent days, Trump, while ignoring the people of Puerto Rico trying to get their lives back together after the Hurricane Maria disaster, has been taking time to tweet about how his support for Luther Strange in the Alabama Senate Republican primary runoff election is going to propel Strange to victory. In typical Trump fashion, he boasted in one of this tweets that Strange shot up in the polls because of the Trump endorsement.
A funny thing happened, though. Strange lost the election, and suddenly, all of those tweets are gone! It’s as if Trump thinks he can erase history by removing all traces of it. Of course, that attempt, too, was a failure because once he puts something on the Internet, it never goes away. Every word is archived somewhere. And there are no shortage of people on Twitter eager to dig this stuff up and get it out there to broadcast Trump’s failures to the world.
As it turns out, digging this stuff up is pretty easy. There’s a searchable database of all Trump’s deleted tweets where you can find them all in one place.
