Since I posted this yesterday, some of my former students are hearing from their families finally. Thank you for all your support yesterday. I am hoping that you do it again because it is really a team effort. this is our community and we stand up when when we are called upon to help. We can’t all jump into a car to the airport and fly to help people in the disaster depicted above. BUT THE SHELTERBOX PEOPLE DO!
Don’t mean to be repetitive, but I am trying to drive you to click on ShelterBox links and drive you to the donation link where you can select you money to go directly to hurricane relief. Sneaky of me, eh?

(I looked up a friend in Puerto Rico and I see postings from her adult children asking if she is ok. no response. I have former students in Buffalo, NY, who are desperate to hear from their parents in Puerto Rico. This is personal, there are many people on the mainland who love the people of Puerto Rico)
