USA Today is reporting that in her upcoming book, Hillary Clinton Bernie Sanders' attacks 'paved the way' for Trump.
In passages shared on social media, Clinton said that because she and Sanders agreed on most policy issues, the Vermont senator resorted to "innuendo and impugning my character."
"His attacks caused lasting damage, making it harder to unify progressives in the general election and paving the way for Trump's 'Crooked Hillary' campaign," wrote Clinton.
F#ck you, Hillary. Bernie attacked you for the same reason you attacked him: because he thought he was the better candidate, and wanted to become the nominee. You were damaged because you were damaged goods before you ever announced your candidacy. If somehow he had managed to win the nomination, even with everything you did to try to stop him, do you think he would be blaming you had he lost to Trump?
How does a fringe candidate who was not even a Democrat create such a challenge to her, go from single digits to neck-and-neck in a matter of weeks? Two reasons: a compelling platform, and Democrats desperate to back anyone but her.
The arrogance of her remarks is beyond reason. Did Ford blame Reagan out loud for his loss to Carter in 1976? Did Carter blame Ted Kennedy out loud for his loss to Reagan in 1980? No. Did Bush the first blame Pat Buchanan out loud for his loss to Hillary's husband? No. These were contentious races for the nomination, to see who was the best candidate.
Hillary, in this book, is saying, in so many words, "The nomination was mine. It was my birthright. I was entitled to it, before any primary, democracy be damned, and Bernie should not have tried to take it from me."
F#ck you, Hillary. As I wrote a year ago this week, well before the election (and got hammered for): After over 20 years of pounding from the right, and the emails, and “Clinton fatigue”, your candidacy was doomed before you even announced.

No. I will not take this down.
If you really think that this diary will cause more discontent than her book, you are delusional. She is a crybaby. She can vent privately. If she truly wants the Democrats to come together, the LAST thing she should do is to bash Bernie!!!
AND, if YOU, the READER, truly want Democrats to be unified, you should encourage Hillary to heed President Obama’s advice, which was to NOT write and say things like this!!!

For those still confused, let me draw you a map:
- Hillary is upset that Bernie was critical of her during the primary season; but : how could he run against her in the primaries without being critical of her? It is not possible!
- In other words, what she is saying here is that she is criticizing Bernie for running a campaign against her prior to the fall election. In doing so, she is saying that she was entitled to the nomination. That somehow, it was her birthright. It was her’s, and she resents Bernie for trying to take it away from her.
I am NOT criticizing either her experience or her qualifications. I was noting that the country had “Clinton fatigue” before she ran, and that her negatives were as high as Trump’s negatives. I lamented a year ago that we had a problem:
What does it say about a Democratic candidate who has
- a few former heads of the CIA, and Noam Chomsky supporting her;
- and major Republican supporters of major Republicans supporting her because they can't support their party's candidate;
- and Democratic supporters both liberal and moderate and everywhere in between;
And still can’t put this away?
And why this diary now? Well, why the book now? Why the criticism of Bernie for having the audacity to run against her?
