Last night, the intrepid Alyssa Milano light-heartedly wagered that her tweet, pointing out the weirdness of the numbers behind Trump’s tweets, would get more retweets than his. Lo behold, the results are coming in. She has already won the bet. Her simple innocuous tweet has garnered over 57K 59K 44K 93K retweets and 85K 129K likes already compared to Trump, who has over 54M followers but whose tweets rarely get over 20K retweets and average around 70K likes. Wanna bet that a good fraction of Trump’s 20K retweeters and 70K likers are bots themselves?
Nothing scientific or conclusive about this but it hints that a large fraction of Trump’s 54 million twitter followers are most likely mindless bots — software as well as humans.
And if nothing else, this tweet will help drive Trump deeper into his narcissistic abyss. And keep shining some light on the Trump-Russia corrosive collusive connection.
Alyssa is of course a thorn in the side of Trump and a strong voice among progressives. Watch and share this video for some powerful arguments on why Congress should not confirm Kanavaugh.
The GLAAD organization recently announced that Alyssa will be honored with its inaugural Ariadne Getty Ally Award at the GLAAD Gala in San Francisco on Sept. 15.
Let’s take a cue from Alyssa and keep the pressure up on the GOP and Democrats this week -
- No Kavanaugh hearings until the Mueller investigation of the unindicted colluding co-conspirator is concluded
- No hearings until all of the background documents are made public
- No hearings until the people have spoken in November
- No hearings period
Strong words from Sen. Schumer — Friday night massacre, Cover-up, Collusion.
Let’s keep those phones ringing at the Senate offices. Twitter works too!
Even if Kavanaugh’s appointment is unstoppable, we can make the corrupt GOP pay a heavy price for it in November. Let’s throw the bums out this November.
P.S. The number of retweets of Alyssa’s tweet suspiciously dropped from 59K to 37K around 3:15 p.m. ET. Then around 6:08 p.m. ET, the number jumped from 44K to 74K. Who knows what’s going on. The hacker teams are angry?
