To be fair, it’s possible that the doddering fool couldn’t see how idiotic this tweet looked through the spittle-flecked screen of whatever (tiny) hand-held device he was using:
First, the definition of “sneaky”:
Sneaky (adjective \ ˈsnē-kē \ ): marked by stealth, furtiveness, or shiftiness
So, just how sneaky was Feinstein? She released a public statement and put the transcript up on a government website. Very stealthy.
Second, what has Dianne Feinstein said about collusion? Things like this:
It's an open question because there's no proof yet that it's happened, and I think that proof will likely come with Mr. Mueller's investigation.
And possibly illegal? As in “lock her up, 2.0”? Sorry, Don, but the transcript wasn’t classified. And the “without authorization”? Yeah, it’s true, the little lady didn’t wait for permission from Daddy Grassley.
And finally, “Must have a tough Primary”? Again, sorry to break it to the Idiot in Chief, but Feinstein releasing the transcript will probably bump her up a good 10 points in the polls. And does he really think that going against him and his enablers is a black mark against a Democrat? If so, that’s the clearest case yet for invoking the 25th Amendment.
Of course one can understand why Feinstein’s action has his knickers in a twist. After all, not only does the transcript clearly show the corruption of Trump and the treachery of Republicans, it’s also ruining the glow from his signature achievement of the week: Staying conscious for nearly an hour.
