Treason doth neuer prosper? What's the Reason?
for if it prosper none dare call it treason
-John Harington (1560-1612)
We may owe Steve Bannon one for employing the word “treasonous” to describe the conduct of participants in the infamous summer meeting with the Russians who promised “dirt on Hillary” to Trump campaign participants including Donald, Jr., Paul Manafort and Jared Kushner.
The mamby-pamby word “collusion” is the term of art used by the MSM to describe the Trumpists possible connivance with the Russkis but collusion is not a legal term. OTOH subversion, conspiracy and treason are all felony crimes and the available evidence shows that the meeting was a part of a conspiracy to subvert the 2016 election and if so the American participants should be tried for treason.
