Here is a sample of some of the best campaign ads run by Democratic candidates around the country. As is usually the case, Democratic campaign ads tend to be positive, uplifting, creative and make liberal use of humor, while Republican campaign ads tend to be dark, deceitful, and focus on fear and identity politics (so we won’t present any of them).
We kick off with a set of humorous and biting ads for Beto O’Rourke, directed by Texas filmmaker Richard Linklater.

Ben and Jerry, in partnership with MoveOn.org, are running a set of television ads to help five Democrats — Aftab Pureval OH-1, Stephany Rose Spaulding CO-5, J.D. Scholten IA-4, James Thompson KS-4, and Lauren Underwood IL-14. The ads will start airing Monday, Oct 22 on MSNBC, CNN and Comedy Central. Here is one of the ads —
