Not everyone is cut out for phone-banking -- Making cold calls, some to hostile people., getting a high percentage of no answers or machines.
Here are two ways to help GOTV without having to do
(1) Vote Forward: The Perfect GOTV Activity for Introverts or the House-Bound has been featured here. You download as many letters and addresses as you want, fill in names and a short message and then mail them (but not before October 30 because the later the communication the better).
(2) Postcards for Voters:
Postcards to Voters are friendly, handwritten reminders from volunteers to targeted voters giving Democrats a winning edge in close, key races coast to coast.
What started on March 11, 2017 with sharing 5 addresses apiece to 5 volunteers on Facebook so that they could mail postcards to voters in Jon Ossoff’s race grew in one month to 1,200+ volunteers nationwide and over 51,000 postcards mailed. Now, we consist of over 20,000+ volunteers in every state (including Alaska and Hawaii) who have written close to 3 million postcards to voters in over 100+ key, close elections.
I love when something spreads through geometric dissemination.
I’m doing at least 25 letters.
Give it a try.
